Gulai Cabai (Chilli Curry)

This is my mother's recipe. Different from normal curry but the taste is awesome. We loved it everytime she cooked this. Somehow mom's cook is always the best..

2 pcs fish (any type)
2 tsp fennel powder
1 tsp cumin powder
4 pcs lady finger
1 eggplant
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup water
1 stalk lemongrass

Items to blend
5-6 pcs dried chillies
4 onion
3 garlic
1 tsp turmeric powder (fresh turmeric is better)
1/2" ginger

1 tsp tamarind paste
salt to taste

1. Heat 2 tblsp oil in a wok, add the chilli paste, stir fry until fragrant
2. Add cumin and fennel powder and lemongrass
3. Add water and coconut milk. Followed by tamarind paste and salt
4. Add fish and ladyfinger & tomato let it simmer.
5. Served with rice
