Soft Sweet Dinner Rolls





Ingredients: 

3 1/2  cup bread flour or all purpose flour
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup milk
4 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice

Preparation:-
1.  Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Add flour, sugar , yeast and salt into electric mixing bowl. 
3. Melt butter with water and milk. But do not bring it to boil. You may use the microwave oven for about 1 minute. Stir the butter until it dissolve
4. Add into the flour and together with lemon juice. Mixed it for about 5 minutes from low to high speed.
5. Remove from the bowl and knead and shape it into round dough. Brush oil on top of it and then cover with plastic and allow it to rest for about 1 hour until double the size.
6. Punch the dough and knead again. Cut the dough into 9 pieces and then shape the dough into small balls and placed it on the baking tray (make sure oil it first)
7. Cover with towel and allow it to rise again for about another 30 minutes.
8.  Bake into the oven until it turn brown. 
9. Remove from the oven and then brush melted butter on it. Allow to cool before serve.

Moist Chocolate Cup Cake





 Ingredients
1 & 3/4 cup self raising flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 & 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup hot water (boiling)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Method
1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degree C
2. Sieved the flour with coco powder. And then add in the sugar, eggs, milk and olive oil. Using the electric mixer, beat until fluffy
3. Add vanilla and hot water and continues whisk.
4. Pour into the cup cakes casing and bake for about 30 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before keeping in the fridge.
This cake is nice to eat when it's chilled

Banana Bread with Desiccated Coconut 



Ingredients

1/2 cup Butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs - beaten
4 banana - mashed
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup desiccated

Methods

1. Whisk butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in beaten egg, vanilla and mashed banana. Continue whisk
2. Sieved flour, baking powder and salt together. Add into the mixture, followed by the desiccated coconut. Mixed well and then transfer into the baking tray.
3. Bake in the oven at 180 degree C for about 45mins or until it turns brown.

Marble Cookies



Marble Cookies


Ingredients

250g Butter
1 cup castor sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups plain flour
1 cup self raising flour
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp cocoa powder

Method

1. Combine and sieve both of the flour with salt and set aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar until soft and then add in the eggs and vanilla. Mixed well
3. Add the flour bit by bit and then divide into 2 portion. Add cocoa powder into one of the portion
4. Wrap with plastic both of the mixture separately and then keep in the fridge for 2-3 hours
5. Remove from the fridge. Divide the dough into 4 portion, and then make a roll of each of them and then join the 2 color mixture, roll it until it become one. Cut into a small size and use your finger or palm to shape it.
6. Arrange in the baking tray and then bake in a pre heat oven at 170 degree C for about 15-20 minutes.

Oats and Strawberry Muffin

Oats and Strawberries Muffin




Ingredients
1 cup Oats
1/2 cup raisin
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup low fat yogurt
1/4 cup low fat milk
1 egg
1 1/2 cup self raising flour
1 large ripe banana (mashed)
4-5 pieces strawberries - chopped
50g brown sugar

Almond flakes for decoration

Methods
1. Pre heat oven to 180 degree C
2. Combine oats, yogurt and milk. Keep in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
3. Lightly beat the egg and pour into the mixture. Stirs, and then add in other ingredient; raisin, coconut, mashed banana, strawberries, sugar and flour.
4. Scoop the mixture into the muffin cup and sprinkle with almond flakes.
5. Bake the muffin for about 20-30 minutes or until it turn brown.

Apple Muffin with Desiccated Coconut




Ingredients A
200 gm self-raising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
50gm brown sugar
Ingredients B
1 egg - lightly beaten
90ml low fat milk
80ml vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 large Apple - peeled and chopped
2 tbsp desiccated coconut

Colored Sugar sprinkle - (optional) or icing sugar

Methods
1. Pre-heat oven at 200 degree C
2. Mixed ingredients A in a bowl. Keep a side
3. Beat egg with vanilla and then add in milk and vegetable oil.
4. Combine the ingredients A and mixed well. Add in chopped apple and desiccated coconut
5. Arrange the muffin cup, and scoop the mixture into the cup. Sprinkle the colored sugar to decorate,
6. Bake the muffin for about 20 minutes. Allow to cool before served.

Chocolate Butter Cake

Chocolate Butter Cake



Ingredients
250gm Butter
150gm castor sugar
5 eggs
1/2 cup evaporated milk
250gm self raising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp cocoa powder

Method
1. Using the electric mixer, beat the egg and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla, continue stirs
2. Melt the butter and pour it into the eggs, continue stirs. Then add in the milk
3. Sieved the baking powder and flour together and then; gradually add to the mixture
4. Divide the mixture into 2, add cocoa powder into one of the portion. Leave the other portion as yellow. At the meantime Pre heat the oven to 180 degree C
5. Start the 1st scoop at the centre of baking tray, then make a hole by pushing it to aside, add another color and then again push it to make another hole. Repeat with another color until it finish.
6. Bake the cake for about 45 mins or until cooked.




Simple Minced Beef Quiche


Simple Minced Beef Quiche


Ingredients
Pastry
2 cups flour (500gm)
290g cold butter (cut into cubes)
1 egg
60ml chilled water

Filling
1 cup minced beef
3 tomatoes - cut into cubes
8 pcs button mushroom - sliced
3 garlic - chopped
1 large onion - cubed
1 red chili - chopped
1 tbsp chopped parsley
3 eggs
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup heavy creme
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp butter
freshly ground black pepper
Salt to taste

Methods

Filling
1. Heat the olive oil in the sauce pan. Add chopped garlic and chili, add in onions, stirs
2. Add minced beef, constantly stirs until cooked and then add parsley, tomatoes and mushroom. Season with black pepper and salt. Remove from the heat and set aside
3. Breaks the egg in to a bowl, beat until smooth. Add in the heavy creme and season with salt and black pepper.


Pastry
1. Mixed flour and butter and use the food processor to turn into bread crumbs.
2. Add cold water and egg, pulse until it turn into dough
3. Pre heat the oven to 200 degree C.
4. Roll the dough to fit the baking pan. Bake for about 20 mins. Remove and then put baking paper with beans or rice on top (Blind bake). This is to ensure the pastry is pressed down.
5. Removed the beans or rice and then add the butter and fill in the filling and top up with the egg mixture and grated cheese.
6. Bake again at 190 degree, for another 20 mins or until its brown.
7. Allow to cool before serve

Kueh Talam Beras

Tepung Talam Beras


Ingredients A (Top Layer)
1 cup rice flour
1 tbsp tapioca flour
1 tbsp corn flour
2 cups coconut milk
1 tsp salt

Ingredients B (Bottom Layer)
3 cups coconut milk
1 cup rice flour
1 tbsp corn flour
1/2 cup pandan extract (from 10 leaves)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp lime betel mixed with water (kapur sireh) - optional

Method
1. Mixed all the ingredients B into a bowl and stir thoroughly until there is no lumps. (You can blend it to get smooth texture). At meantime pre-heat the steamer.
2. Stir on slow heat until its slightly thicken and then transfer to tray. and steam for about 15 minutes
3. Mixed all the ingredients B into a small pot and stir on slow heat for 5 minutes.
4. Scratch the green (bottom) layer and the pour the white (top) layer on top and steam for another 15 minutes or until its ready
5. Removed and allow to cool before served.

Easy Chocolate Cake with Frosting

Ingredients A
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 3/4 cup Self raising flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Ingredients B
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup hot water
2 tsp vanilla

Frosting cream
8 oz cream cheese (soften)
100g soften unsalted butter
1/2 cup icing sugar (can add more, to your desire)

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180 degré Celsius
2. In large bowl, add all ingredient A and stir until together
3. Add egg, mils, oil and vanilla. Using the electric mixer mixed for about 2-3minutes. And the add in hot water. Continues stirs
4, Grease the baking tray and pour the mixture in it. Bake for about 40 minutes or until it cooked. Removed and allow to cool
5. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy and then add cream cheese. Continue beat until soft and spread evenly on the cake and decorate with cherry etc

Caramel Cake (Kek Gula Hangus)


Kek Gula Hangus (Caramel Cake) 




Ingredients
For the caramel
1 cup sugar
1 cup hot water
2 tbsp butter

Others 
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup condensed milk
1 cup flour                      ) Add together
2 tsp soda bicarbonate  )


Methods
1. In the sauce pan, stir the sugar until dissolved and turn to brown. Removed from heat, carefully add the hot water and cover with the lid until its stop bubbling. Add butter, stir until its melted. Set a side
2.Whisk egg until white and fluffy, add milk and continue stirs
3. Add flour and soda bicarbonate, mixed it well. Add in vanilla and caramel.
4. Cover the mixture and allow to stand for about 4 hours  and then bake at 170 degree Celsius with heat at the bottom burner. 10 minutes when its about to ready, turn the heat to both burner.
5. Removed, allow to cool before served

Polkadot Cup Cake (Apom polkadot)





Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup castor sugar
1 cup fresh milk
1 tsp ovalette
1 tsp vanilla essence
Food coloring

Filling - (optional)
Any jam or peanut butter


Method
1. Using the electric mixer, whisk eggs, sugar and ovalette until white and fluffy
2. Reduce the speed and then add in vanilla, flour, baking powder and milk. Continue whisk
3. At the meantime, prepare the steamer. Add color to the mixture
4. Arrange the cup cake casing in the tray, put the mixture until half ad then add filling, top up with the mixture to cover it evenly.
5. Use the tooth pick or else to make a dot on the surface. (use any coloring you prefer)
6. Steam for about 15 minutes

Apple Oats Muffin

Apple Oats Muffin




Ingredients
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 cup instant oat
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 large apple - peeled and chopped


Method
1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and then add milk and butter. Continue stirs
3. Add in all other ingredients, followed by the apples.
4. Spoon into the muffin tray until it finished. Bake for about 20 minutes or until its ready
5. Served warm

Steam Mocca Cake




Ingredients A
250g Butter
1 cup cocoa powder
1 cup fresh milk
1 tbsp Nescafe
1/2 cup condensed milk

Ingredients B
3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence

Ingredients C
1 1/4 cup plain flour
1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate
1 tsp baking powder


Methods.
1. Combine the ingredients A in a small pot, cooked on slow heat until its mixed thoroughly. Removed and set a side
2. Using the electric mixer, whisk egg and brown sugar until fluffy and then add the vanilla.
3. Add the mixture and continue stir, slowly add the ingredients C bit by bit.
4. Heat up a steamer. And steam the cake for about 45 minutes or until it cooked
5. Carefully removed from the steamer, avoid the water dropping on the cake.
6. Served

Honey Fruit Cornflakes






Ingredients
500g Cornflakes
100g butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup honey
4 tbsp roasted sesame
6 pcs red cherry - chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1 tsp vanilla essence
Papercups


Method
1. Melt butter on slow heat and then add in honey, vanilla & sugar. Stir until dissolve.
2. Combine cornflakes with raisins, roasted sesame and cherry into a bowl. Pour the mixture and mixed thoroughly.
3. Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
4. Scoop into papercup. Arrange in the baking tray and bake for about 5-8 minutes.
5. Allow to cool and then served

Almond Raisin Muffin







Ingredients
150g butter - soften
4 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup evaporated milk
2 1/12 cup self raising flour

1/4 cup raisins
6 red preserved cherries  - chopped
1/4 cup crushed almonds

Methods
1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
2. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, and then add in the egg one after another and the add in the vanilla
3. In separate bowl combine salt and milk. And then slowly pour into the mixture.
4. Add the flour and baking powder; continue stirs until it's thoroughly mixed and then add in the raisins, cherry and crushed almonds
5. Scoop the mixture into the cupcake and arrange on the baking tray.
6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until it turns brown and cooked.
7, Allow to cool before served

Sesame Balls








INGREDIENTS
3 cups glutinous flour
1 egg
1 cup water
3 tbsp thick coconut milk
1/2 cup sugar
Sesame seeds

METHODS
1. Add flour and sugar in a bowl, make a whole at the centre and pour the water, egg and coconut milk.  Slowly mixed it and knead until it becomes soft dough
2. Make a small ball and coat it with sesame seeds.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, deep fry the ball until yellow. Stir slowly to avoid the sesame from dropping too much. Removed and allow it to cool before serve






Putu Kacang








INGREDIENTS
1 kg Green peas
750g Castor sugar


METHODS
1. Fry the green peas without oil until fragrant (about 40 minutes). Blend until smooth
2. Combine with sugar and mixed well.
3. Sprinkle water to wet it a bit. And then press it to the mould, make sure it really hard and firm before removed it. Continue the process until finish
4. Arrange on the tray and dry it under the sun for 15 minutes.

Biskut Makmur


Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
1 tbsp butter
100 gm Ghee
1 egg - lightly beaten

Icing sugar for coating

Filling
300 gm peanut
300 gm sugar
1/4 cup water

Method:
1. Melt the ghee and butter together, and then allow to cool
2. Sieve the flour and then add the ghee. Beat the egg and add to dough, knead until soft
3. Make a small ball and flattern it, add the filling and make it into half moon shape.
4. Arrange on the baking tray, and bake in the pre heat oven at 175 degree C until brown.
5. Allow to cool before roll on into the icing sugar
Making the filling
 1. Fry the peanut without the oil until cooked. Coarsely pound and set a side
 2. Combine sugar and water, boil until dissolved
 3. Add the peanuts, stirs until dry and thick

Biskut Sarang Semut






Ingredients
100gm plain flour
200gm casturd flour
75gm sugar
120gm butter
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Chocolate rice
Paper cups


Method:
1. Combine butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanila in a mixer and beat until fluffy.
2. Sieve the custard and plain flour and then add to the mixture.
3. Knead the dough and then keep in the  fridge for about 1 hour.
4. Pre heat the oven to 175 degree C
5. Removed from fridge and then grate the dough. Spoon the grated into paper cup and then sprinkle the chocolate rice on top of it.
5. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until it turns brown
